EXT. – A driveway in a suburban neighborhood – Day
Pam
and Angela are putting the last of
their bags in their small old Toyota. It
is the begging of summer and the weather is hot and perfect beach weather. The sisters are ready for their long road
trip.
Pam
I
can’t wait to get on the road
Pam
shuts the trunk and her dad Kevin
walks up to the car.
Kevin
Okay
girls, here’s the scoop,
I want you to drive safe, no unplanned stops,
and call me as soon as you get there.
Angela
We
know dad!
Can
we leave now?
The girls hug their dad goodbye and
get in the car. They wave out of the
window as they drive away.
Pam
Here’s
the scoop, we have to get on I-90 for 30miles then get off.
But
first let’s gas up and get snacks and drinks.
Angela
Okay,
okay we see who got dad’s controlling qualities.
(Pam gives her
sister a mean look but then laughs it off)
They drive off down the highway with the music
blasting out of the windows.
